Matlab Not connecting to Comsol Server

??? Error using ==> mphstart at 161
A connection to COMSOL could not be established. Please check that a COMSOL server is
started prior to calling mphstart

I am getting above error even when i call mphstart after starting the comsol server

I am using Matlab 7.12(R2011a), and Comsol 5.0 on Windows 8.1

help me out to solve this issue
